The 2008 Golf Classics
are quickly approaching. The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan
will host seven Golf
Classics in
the following cities: Ann Arbor, Clarkston, Grand
Rapids (two tournaments), Lansing, and Northville. You
are invited to join thousands of golfers from across the country to compete
in the
premier amateur golf event
for charity.
Each winning team will be invited to compete in the NKF
Golf Classics National
Finals.
Four-person teams compete using a scramble format. Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to compete. To be eligible, a team must consist of four amateur players whose USGA Handicap Indexes total 43.0 or more. Only one golfer on each team may have a USGA Handicap Index of 8.0 or less. There will also be a wide variety of gifts and prizes at each event, including golf clubs, shoes, windvests and much more.
