Jack Pitts Golf Outing Donates $13,500 to the NKFM!
The 2017 Jack Pitts Open Golf Tournament raised $13,500 for the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan! The event, which took place at the beautiful Forest Akers West Course on Saturday, July 29, hosted over 130 golfers.
Jack Pitts, accompanied by Omega Psi Phi (Sigma Upsilon Chapter) fraternity brothers Mel Farmer and Roderick Thomas presented the check to Jane Hourani and Dr. Merritt Norvell of the NKFM’s Mid-Michigan Leadership Committee. Bryan Harris, the Golf Course Manager, also joined the group.
In two years, Jack Pitts and his golf tournament has raised $25,500 for the NKFM while raising awareness about the impact of kidney disease and diabetes in the state of Michigan.
