About the Internship Program

The CKD internship program provides an internship (2-8 hours a week) with an NKFM office for people living with chronic kidney disease. The internship program can provide the opportunity for individuals to “test the water” in deciding about a possible return to work. CKD interns work in one of NKFM’s Programs, Services, or Special events and receive a payment stipend. View the CKD Internship Information brochure.

Who can apply?

People who have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease stages 3 to 5, are on dialysis, or are a kidney transplant recipient may apply to be an intern. You must want to work in an office and have reliable transportation.
