Lansing Walk Participation Fee: Each walker over the age of 12 is asked to raise at least $20 in order to offset the cost of the venue, entertainment, parking, etc. Walkers aged 3-12 are asked to raise at least $10. Walkers 2 and under are free. While kidney disease patients are often our best fundraisers, please note that patients are not required to pay to attend the Kidney Walk.
Our hope is that each walker will play a significant role in helping us reach our fundraising goal of $95,000. If each walker raised an average of $100, we could meet our goal, and be able to provide even more programs and services to the people of Michigan living with chronic kidney disease.
90% of proceeds from the Walk go directly to our programs such as Kid’s Camp, Emergency Fund, Enhance Fitness, and many more.
All walkers raising $100 or more will receive the official 2018 Kidney Walk t-shirt (distributed the day of the Walk). Walkers raising $250 or more will receive additional prize opportunities from our catalog of excellent incentive prizes!
Thanks for all you do to support the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
