Help us make a difference

In these extraordinary times, the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan is ready to respond to the unique needs of people with kidney disease who will need vital assistance to get through this crisis. Giving to the Bob Meyer Emergency Fund, or the Transforming Kidney Care Fund, can do just that.

Kelli Sewell
Meet Kelli Sewell

Participant of Kidney PATH and Peer Mentor!

Kelli was diagnosed with kidney disease at age 39, a result of having both diabetes and hypertension in her 20s. Neither disease was controlled while she was busy working and raising her children. She also had no symptoms warning her that her kidneys were failing, a common issue with kidney disease. See how Kelli took her health into her own hands by contacting the NKFM’s Patient Services department and participating in NKFM programs.
